''Scenes from a Mall'' is a 1991 film directed by Paul Mazursky, written by Mazursky and Roger L. Simon, and starring Bette Midler and Woody Allen in one of the few films in which he only acted, without directing and/or producing, alongside ''Play it again, Sam'' (1972), ''The Front'' (1976), ''The Sunshine Boys'' (1996), ''Antz'' (1998), ''Picking up the Pieces'' (2000) and ''Fading Gigolo'' (2013). ==Plot== In the film, Nick (Allen), a sports lawyer, is married to psychotherapist and author Deborah (Midler). After years of being happily married, Nick reveals to Deborah that he has had an affair. She is soon shocked and requests a divorce, but later admits that she herself has been unfaithful.
